Fun Gift Boxes is a Denver based company with the purpose of making it easy for people to give personalized, unique and memorable gift sets, without the hassle. From start to finish, they are committed to providing a one-of-a-kind experience for both the giver and receiver of the gift. Fun Gift Boxes needed the ability to sell and personalize their beautifully designed, curated gifts by artisan makers online.

What we did

Taking the playfulness of their previously existing logo, we wanted to showcase the beautiful products they carry with a playful and simple website structure without distracting too much visually with overwhelming aesthetic. We settled upon a gender neutral color palette and corresponding serif/sans-serif typography (Cormorant & Roboto) that compliments but doesn’t overpower the product and getting users to complete the desired action, which is to complete a purchase. In combination with a custom product package checkout, we created a modern WordPress/WooCommerce-based website to allow the customizations needed with a typical user checkout.
