Colorado-based Sweet Cow Ice Cream is about great tasting ice cream, made in small batches, with love and some of the finest, locally sourced ingredients around. Always hand crafted on site and served fresh daily, these folks take milk, cream and sugar to the next level.
As a growing company with 6 locations, Sweet Cow wanted to scale their digital efforts with modern technology. They acknowledged that a new website, complete with eCommerce capability was necessary to give their fans the resources they needed. Additionally they realized the importance of providing real-time flavor updates and alerts to their fans.
With the needs in mind, we took the simple concept of ice cream and blew out a re-branding to help them in the communities they serve as well as create supplemental income by giving them an online shop. Using WordPress & WooCommerce, we were able to give them a flawless user-experience to allow customers to enjoy purchasing gift-cards, hats, t-shirts and other limited Sweet Cow swag not available in stores.
Next, the mobile app we created synced with their back of the house inventory management system (also created by us). With this, we gave Sweet Cow Fans a go-to resource to find out which store their favorite flavors can be found. The Sweet Cow mobile app needed to have the ability to track and favorite flavors, based on favorited flavors on customer profiles. The app also provides the ability to discover new flavors, with detailed flavor description info, allergens and shop availability information, including directions so you can get to your favorite flavor in real-time.
