Pax8 is a rapidly growing, Inc. 500 ranked company who aims to simplify the way organizations buy, sell, and manage cloud technology.
Pax8 reached out to us on a variety of website design projects in an attempt to to simplify the way users flowed through and digested their content while maintaining a truly branded, aesthetically pleasing experience. From a robust media center (blog), a streamlined "Platform" template, an information-housing "Academy" template, and an assortment of company culture templates, Pax8 needed assistance with various, very important aspects of their digital presence via their website and relied on our approach to modern UI/UX design and development.
As the Pax8 brand was already pretty established, we had the opportunity of evolving the current brand standards with the media center (blog) design. Utilizing “Libre Baskerville” as the complimentary typeface really allowed the look of the blog to both maintain the standardized brand aesthetic while giving the tonality a publication/news center feel. From an informational/flow perspective, we relied heavily on compartmentalizing the template structure based on the hierarchy of information presented.
For the “Platform” template, we knew the importance of flowing users to the CTA which was to “Schedule A Demo” or “Purchase A Plan.” To do this, we wanted only the “need to have” information displayed, where additional information was nested within toggle expand/collapse containers and informational tooltips.
Finally, for both of these designs we wanted to make the experience just as good, if not better on mobile as half of their user base accesses their website via a phone.
Pax8 now can proudly promote their internally generated and affiliate content via a beautifully structured news center, complete with author pages and category archives. Authors and website administrators are now capable of publishing content with just a few clicks of a button. With our help, Pax8 has evolved their user-experience design standards with our modern approach to information flow, brand and content digestion.
Brent is able to consistently find the intersection between "art" and "function" when it comes to website development. He did a phenomenal job taking our initial thoughts for the direction of the Pax8 blog and bringing them to life through a look and feel that coordinated with the rest of our site but also gave the blog a fresh, unique look.
Brent and his team are incredibly easy to work with. They are very responsive, flexible, and collaborative throughout the design and development process. Even when we threw some process curveballs their way, they made the project feel as close to effortless as possible and helped ensure we stuck to our deadlines — while also putting out a fantastic product!
